Manushi Chhillar from haryana Indian state has become the 6th Indian to win the Miss World title.

4 May 1997 Born Manushi , born to a family of doctors, the medical aspirant studied at St Thomas School in Delhi and Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonepat.

The 5 ft 9 inches Haryana girl is not only a would-be doctor and a model, but her creative talent stretches from being a poet, a painter, an actor, to a trained classical dancer.

India last held the title 17 years ago when Priyanka Chopra brought the honour home. Chhillar was chosen for the title from among 108 contestants at the beauty pageant.

The Miss World winner was crowned Femina Miss India in 2017.

Before announcing the winner for this year's Miss World pageant, that was being held in China, the top five contestants had to go through the customary round of questions that finally decided their fate.

Answer : ''A mother deserves the highest respect. It's just not about cash but also the love and respect that you give to someone. My mother has been a huge inspiration. it is the mother's job that deserves the biggest salary''.
